Every year the best friend and I take a trip together to celebrate her birthday by exploring a new city! This year, it was Phoenix Arizona and boy did this trip deliver. I’ve compiled a list of the best hikes to go on in Arizona that are fully subjective to my opinion and what our trip consisted of. And let me kick things off by saying… I think my opinion is pretty spot on 😉

Being that neither of us are the “party” type, we always try to visit places that are known for their outdoor activities and great hikes. Arizona might be one of the best places to visit in the Fall simply based on the weather! OMG y’all. It was unreal. 80 degrees during the day, nice breezy 50 degrees at night.

Alright, so let’s get into it. These hikes were all SO BEAUTIFUL and if I had to pick a favorite… I’d say Camelback Mountain Hike (Cholla Trail) simply because of the challenge and sheer vertical of it all but I’ll be ranking each from 1 being “easy” to 5 being “very difficult”.

One more thing before diving into it, I’d consider my bff and I “quick hikers” and not to toot our own horns but we finished all these hikes before the average time we were seeing online. That being said, I gave a range starting with the time we completed them in and what other sources were averaging.

Noteworthy Hikes in Arizona:

We sadly didn’t get the opportunity to visit the other beautiful parts of Arizona BUT we’ll save that for another trip. There are only so many things to do and see on a 3 day vacation and personally I felt like we really did conquer a lot! Plus, we got to experience some of the best ones amongst all ones we researched.

If there are any native Arizona people out there reading this, let me know if I missed any of your favorite hikes and I’ll add them to the list! You can direct message me on Instagram.

Hope y’all enjoyed reading this as much as I loved writing and reminiscing.

xx
