I have taken a good chunk of Vinyasa style classes before, and this one was definitely the fastest paced one I’ve ever done. The class was a “power flow” Vinyasa so maybe that’s why it was a bit quicker than usual. Not that I’m saying this in a negative way at all! I really liked the pace of the class and I could still keep up, it was just different then previous classes I’ve taken.
She incorporated a great deal of Chaturanga moves as well as back bends and head stands (which are my favorite)! Most of the moves in the class were to help open up the hips. Most people tend to have extremely tight hips because of their jobs aka sitting in a desk all day.
The studio itself was just a front lobby and one room, which made it very intimate and quaint. I really enjoyed my experience with them because they just seemed like genuinely nice people, and who wouldn’t like that?
Next time you’re wanting to try out a new yoga studio I would absolutely recommend Breathe and Body! Go get your om on yogis.
